lo que surge luego de revisar mis dibujos viejos... que manera de abusar de los filtros y los pinceles preestaablecidos de Photoshop!!><;

"like there´s something buggin´ me..."
i just checked my older drawings... and i realized how much i used to abuse of the filters and the grass/leaf PS tools!><;
don´t get me wrong, some people despise them. but not me :)- is just i don´t use them anymore, (except sometimes to give the pic some little touchs, but nothing further) because i think they do not look realistic.
but when i was newer, i used to use alot the craquelure, the waves or a super evident spark (notice it on asta´s jaw and the rock, a two smaller on the legs), as well as the classic grass and leaves...
so... moping at myself =p

hope you like it!

ah: i am traveling alot lately so i put most journals in off. if you have something to tell me, please send me a note :)
and again, i apologize for the late comments and answers (i am really a few time at home)

Lol. This looks really good, Loba! ^^ I actually like some of the filters and such XD I rarely use the little grass tool....As I agree with you about the "realism". Even still, I find it slightly better than the grass that I normally draw--; It's hard to get all of the grass details in there. I mostly just use the rendering of lightening to make things "darker" or create smoother gradients. But, anyway, I can certainly see a lot of different filters used in this....I love the tree! It's so great...And the rockXD I know that texture! Hee hee. I should really play around with Photoshop more.

thank you!:D
i have like 10 different grass brushes created by me (this tut explains how to do it very well: [link]) and when you mix them, the effect is great because hardly someone will notice it :) (anyway, i am thinking on doing it with my own hand when i get a tablet... still dunno)
and yup, they can be nice if they´re not so evident (like the spark in this one ^^)
but specially: thanks muchly alot about the tree :)- i always had problems with them, (looking very blurred) and this one came 100% from my hand (the trunk) , without any "help" :)

Wow! So you didn't use anything for the tree? *-* You did quite an excellent job on it! I wish I could do trees like that, but mine are always so simple compared to the actual thing XD I've always had trouble with detail when it invovles nature or anything else.

Heh, I've never really created any brushes...But, thanks for the link! I might actually try some day XD You've been doing all of this coloring and such with a mouse? :wow: :faint: I could never even think of doing something like that with a mouse..
